Pegasus built its appeal on a bright, almost edible almond-heliotrope accord kept buoyant by bergamot and lavender — sweet, polished and easy to carry through daylight. The Exclusif retains that almond core and then deliberately weighs it down. Cardamom and pink pepper sharpen the opening, the powder thickens, and the base trades approachable vanilla-and-sandalwood warmth for something considerably darker, oud and denser woods pulling the whole composition out of the afternoon and into the evening. The sweetness survives; the versatility does not.
