Fragrance structure
How it develops
It opens green and bracing, violet leaf and coriander sharpening bergamot into something closer to a pressed lapel than a citrus splash. That crispness gives way quickly to a spiced floral heart where black pepper prickles against rose and lily-of-the-valley, keeping the flowers stern rather than pretty. From there the composition sinks steadily into patchouli, which takes over as the true subject, smoothed by bourbon vanilla and rounded off with the salty warmth of ambergris.

How others read it
Praise
Praised for classy patchouli-vanilla balance, formal aura, date-night appeal, and refined unisex wearability.Criticism
Some find it overhyped, not complex enough for the price, too sweet/vanilla-heavy, or less formal than expected.Comparison notes
DUA Tux note list mirrors the original Tuxedo profile; note that YSL has newer Tuxedo variants/Sharp Patchouli/Extrait pages that could confuse target matching.Discovery
