How it develops
It opens bitter and bright at once — grapefruit and bergamot with pink pepper prickling the edges — and the fruit arrives quickly behind it, blackcurrant and pineapple giving that familiar juicy lift without the sugary tilt. The middle is where it separates itself: ginger, cinnamon and cardamom warm everything through, with a thread of rose keeping it from turning purely culinary. It closes on damp earth — vetiver, patchouli and oakmoss under clean ambroxan and musk.
