The apple lands first and lands tart — green, snapping, orchard rather than candy — with Calabrian bergamot and mandarin brightening around it so the fruit stays crisp instead of sweet. Petitgrain pulls everything greener and slightly bitter as it settles, violet leaf adding a cool powdery edge and cashmeran a soft woody haze behind it.
