Fragrance structure
How it develops
It opens cool and aromatic, lavender and rosewood cut with a dry dusting of cinnamon so the herbal edge never turns soapy or medicinal. Within the first half hour that coolness warms: rose swells into the center, lily-of-the-valley keeps it dewy rather than jammy, and cedar frames the flowers in something upright and dry. The long final stretch belongs to oud and sandalwood, with amber, vanilla and musk sanding the agarwood's rougher corners into a smooth, powdery finish.
