How it develops
Bergamot, lavender and clary sage open it herbal and slightly medicinal, an aromatic sharpness that reads more barbershop than dessert for the first few minutes. Saffron arrives underneath and changes the temperature, leathery and dry, and praline slides in beside it to round off the edges. The two hold together through the middle before cedar and oud take the base, drying everything into dark polished wood that keeps a sugared edge to the end.
