How it develops

It opens bright and slightly resinous, bergamot and mandarin sharpened by elemi, with cinnamon already pushing warmth up through the citrus. Orange blossom takes over quickly, turning the spice creamy rather than hot, and cardamom keeps a dry edge so the sweetness never collapses. From there bourbon vanilla settles in and stays, thickened by praline and candied almond, while guaiac wood and musk give the long finish something firm to sit on.
