How it develops
The opening is the loudest part: bergamot and mandarin with a tart blackcurrant snap, sparkling briefly before the fruit dissolves rather than fades. What replaces it is soft rather than floral — magnolia and hedione give the middle air and lift without much colour, a transparency more than a heart. From there it becomes almost entirely a matter of texture, white musk broadening into creamy sandalwood and holding there, warm and smooth, for the rest of the wear.
