How it develops

There is no bright opening to speak of. White flowers arrive already warm, more a soft haze than a top note, and vanilla is present within minutes. The heart is where it settles and largely stays: amber and vanilla in a creamy, plush register, musk widening them outward. Castoreum works underneath the whole thing, lending a leathery, faintly animal rasp that keeps the sweetness from turning confectionary. The drydown is skin, warmth and a long soft trail.
