How it develops
The opening is bright and sticky at once — bergamot and Amalfi lemon over red ginger, with wild berries giving the first hint of fermented sweetness. That fruit turns quickly into liquor: Scotch whiskey and dark rum arriving together, warm and slightly caramelised, with rose smoothing the alcohol so it reads as a poured drink rather than a spill. Underneath, cypriol, gurjun balsam and guaiac dry the whole thing out, and ambroxan and musk carry it into a warm skin finish.
