How it develops
The opening is bright and green for only a moment, bergamot and rosemary over violet leaf, before frankincense and myrrh close over it. The heart is the reason the flanker exists: orris spreads a cool powdered veil across the resins while amber and vanilla warm it from below, so the incense never goes austere. The base is long and heavy, leather and agarwood smoke over sandalwood, cedar and patchouli, holding on skin well past the point most fragrances quit.
