Fragrance structure
How it develops
It opens with labdanum's sticky resin cut by a flash of orange and, in some wearings, a brief herbal-medicinal edge that a fair number of people find awkward. Lavender and benzoin then bridge the gap, pulling that sharpness into something balsamic and rounded. From there it is amber's story: vanilla and tonka pour in, cedar and musk hold the edges, and the remaining hours are a slow, glowing warmth with no further turns.
