Fragrance structure
How it develops
The opening is immediately boozy, rum spilling over cinnamon bark, warm and a little abrasive, with saffron adding a metallic-leathery glint behind the sweetness. Within the first hour tobacco takes the center, dried and honeyed rather than smoky, and vanilla begins pooling underneath it. The long tail is sandalwood carrying that vanilla-tobacco weight, kept aloft by an airy floral transparency so the whole thing never quite collapses into syrup.
