How it develops
It opens rich rather than fresh: Turkish rose already at full volume, saffron laying a leathery, metallic warmth over it, with coriander and carrot seed adding an earthy, root-like spice. The heart deepens the flower as rose absolute thickens with honeyed beeswax, jasmine and hedione throwing light across it so the sweetness stays airborne. The base is the long tail, oud, labdanum, benzoin and patchouli under vanilla and musk, resinous and quietly animalic.
