How it develops
It opens fresh and citrus-forward, bergamot, lemon, mandarin and orange lifted by lavender, echoing the original Elysium's brightness before the composition darkens. Blackberry and rose take over next, adding a fruity-floral contrast that reads richer and more sensual than a typical fougère heart. The base settles into juniper berry, cypress, frankincense and patchouli, with soft leather and ambroxan giving the drydown a smoky, skin-close warmth that the original never reached.
